Introduction
In the Taran family, it is hard to conceive a child, because of this Phillip's family are the one's who knows how to continue the lineage and how the Taran can conceive.
History
The Taran bloodline was considered as half noble only, for they have black hair but red eyes "the blood of their distant ancestors was mixed with humans, so they were shunned by other nobles"[1]. Due to Nobles greed for power, the commoners waged a hunt the moment they knew that the nobles lost their powers, but one brother and sister manage to survive the hunt, these sibling has the Taran bloodline.

When the blood of humans got mixed with the Taran bloodline, they gained powerful physical and mental capacities, and their former black-eyes turned to blood-red color.
The brother and sister lived in hiding, waitng for everyone to forget their existence, the only way to preserve their bloodline. After a few decades, the magical empire became an old story, and after a century it became a legend. They came out of hiding, and rebuild the House Taran, they rallied forces together, while the House Taran is rebuilding, a few descendants joined them, one of them is Phillip's family. That became their mission in life, preserving the noble Taran bloodline. Eversince the nobles fell, the Tarans had to find a way to continue their bloodline, and the previous research that their ancestors have at that time were useful! Two members of the Taran family will always give birth to a son, and when a Taran have a child with an ordinary woman the child will always be a daughter.
Thus begin this filthy process, as to what Hugo refers to.
The Tarans produce sons from their own bloodline, then the Tarans use ordinary women to produce a daughter that will be a future bride to their sons— they became their half-brothers wife, without knowing they are related. This is a special method using a herbal medicine called "Three-leaf Mugwort"[2].

As time went by, this knowledge became a secret from the Taran heads, and was passed down in Phillip's family as a family secret. he Head of the Taran never knew the exact details of this method. But Hue found out.
Process
The ordinary woman must start taking Mugwort when she gets her first period in order to stop the bleeding, they have to take it for at least a year.

After that, they will spend the night with a Taran, and will take a medicine to nullify the effects of the Mugwort that makes the body return to its normal state. The fertile window lasts until the woman startes getting her period again, and thus a daughter will be born after nine months.
The mother will be taken care of and the child will be raised away from her family until the time comes. And when it does a son should've been born in between the two Taran members. Then the daughter will become the son's bride, and the process will repeat in order to preserve the bloodline of the Tarans.
